PAKT Life: Female Entrepreneurs Day 2019

Barbara Yu Larsson, Co Founder of PAKT was recently asked to speak at the Female Entrepreneurs Day event in Singapore. Founded by Anna Wong and Ines Gafsi, the conference brought together new generation entrepreneurs uniting them with the big thinkers, female trailblazers and inspiring founders who are shaping the world. Held over two days, at 250 Orchard Road, FED aims to provide tangible support to female led businesses while exploring new ideas and the fourth annual conference certainly lived up to its name.

Female founders, corporate leaders and media came together for the event to talk effective marketing strategies, revenue expansion and public speaking. There was Sudhir Agarwal, CEO of Everise Holdings on #heforshe movement, Liuyi Luo, on working with Jack Ma and Vertex Ventures on fundraising.

As part of the Fireside chat section of the first day, Barbara was joined on a panel by Fanny Moizant, Co Founder of Vestiaire Collective and Marion Caunter, Celebrity Entreprenuer to discuss their business journeys, the challenges faced and the rewards enjoyed by female founders. With the lively discussion moderated by Sean Lee Davies and robot Sophia Hanson, the talk culminated in Barbara demonstrating her karate skills  – which despite her heels she did with kick ass style!
